My first Charlie Banana Diaper was an aqua colored XS diaper that I used for Averlee when she was a newborn. I knew then I was in trouble, because I was blown away by the quality of the diaper and the softness of the fleece. Even though I already had a pretty well rounded one sized stash, I went ahead and eventually purchased two Charlie Banana in the One Sized version. I really wanted lavender and my hubby picked out a black one.
These diapers have waist and hip snaps on the front.
The leg elastic adjusts on the inside similar to how one would adjust a bra strap.
Even though there are suggested sizes marked, there are no presets like with a snap front rise adjustment, I find I can get a more custom fit.
The thick elastic on the back is another feature that I love.
These have fit Averlee well since she was a 9 lbs and 6 weeks old. I can't remember every having a leak or blowout in these.
My only real complaint is I wish they had a natural fiber insert option. Personally I don't use microfiber, though I know it is a popular and inexpensive option that a lot of cloth diapering moms love.
I am also really excited about the new print they just announced today on Facebook! I am definitely adding this one to my wish list. I am swooning.
Now onto the giveaway portion.

A big thank you goes out to the Charlie Banana company, who was generous enough to provide the diapers for this giveaway.)
I haven't tried any diapers yet (I'm still TTCing) but I just bought a viking print shell by Kissaluvs
ReplyDeleteI love how much money it saves! (Especially once I have TWO in cloth) and also how darned cute they all are! :)
ReplyDeleteI think the new print is amazing and wish I had a girl to put on! I have 1 Charlie banana and out of my other diapers it still fits great! Hoping to add more into my stash soon!!
ReplyDeletethanks for this wonderful review! I am coming from your YouTube video. My husband and I are having our fist child and have never cloth diapered before, but we are very interested in CB because of the simplicity of the diapers and also the colours! thank you for the review and give away!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing is not having to throw away so much trash! I haven't used ANY cloth diapers yet b/c I'm still waiting on my first baby!
ReplyDeleteI love that my baby can have a cute bum and that it saves money!
ReplyDeleteI love that I can save tons of money with cloth and that I have the peace of mind that my baby has a comfy and cute bum. Plus I know that my baby is free from any skin irritations with CB diapers.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about cloth diapering is the lack of diaper rash. Every time I have to use a sposie, my girl ends up with a wicked rash. As for Charlie Banana...two of them were my very first cloth diapers given to me by a friend for my baby shower two years ago. Then when I found out that they had a camo pack, I bought that too. Love my Charlie Bananas!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful review! My favorite thing is all the money that I can save!
ReplyDeleteI love saving money and better for baby. .. love Charlie bananna fit great and no leaks
ReplyDeleteI love saving money and cute prints. I have two adorable CB diapers, but would love to have more.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love that I don't have to make special trips to buy diapers. I always have them on hand. I also love how cute they are!! I haven't tried Charlie Banana yet but want to!!
ReplyDeleteWe only use Charlie Banana's, they really do have the best fit. I love the snap closure especially at night! At first I didn't think I would like cloth because they are bulky on his clothes. But now I just slap some cute leg warmers on him and he is the cutest baby at play dates. Ok, I might be biased! I think this pack would be so cute with some 4th of July leg warmers. Love America!

DeleteThey r so luxurious. And I especially love the prints and trim fit :)
ReplyDeleteCB are actually one of our favorite diapers we have a heavy wetter and these work great over night. We have another one on the way and with 2 in cloth these would be a welcomed edition
ReplyDeleteI actually have used Charlies prior to this, they are our MVP's of the CD bunch we have, and I'm buying some for my sister to build her stash. I actually love all the beautiful colors and the lining. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that my baby girl looks great with or without clothes on while wearing cloth diapers. I don't have to worry about throwing away all of the stinking diapers, just washing with my regular load of laundry. She's our first baby girl so my husband wants to make sure she's well spoiled!
ReplyDeleteMy first is due today and I'm most excited about her cute fluffy butt and saving a ton of money. So nice when I walk passed all the disposables at the store. I haven't tried Charlie bananas yet buy I really want to try them. Wish I could afford to buy one but can't so would absolutely love to win these!
ReplyDeleteI cloth diaper in CB's as well. I love the CB brand. Only thing is the fleece ends up not being soft after so many loads. They still work fine, just not soft anymore :( I also have a swim diaper... but will need a bigger sized one this year
ReplyDeleteI love Charlie banana! They're super absorbent and so easy to adjust when it comes to sizing!
ReplyDeleteI love CB because we can save $$$, they are eco-friendly, no rashes, I love the lining and the beautiful and unique styles. Only cool babies wear Charlie Banana!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love cd so much I can't choose just one thing! I swear by it and am so glad we made the choice! I haven't tried CB yet but want to, I need some reliable diapers!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about cloth diapers is how cute and economical they are. I love mt Charlie bananas and they are the only pockets I have. I too wish they had a natural fiber insert, but I just stuff with prefolds sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI love how earth friendly it is and how much money we save!
ReplyDeleteI love how much money I save and I have I in my stash
ReplyDeleteI love that they are free of chemicals and saves a ton of money. Once the little one arrives I would love to try Charlie Banana. Thanks for the chance to win :)
ReplyDeleteI love cloth diapering to save money plus they are so adorable! I have not tried Charlie Banana diapers yet.
ReplyDeleteI love not having to go to the store all the time for more diapers. Not only do we save a ton of money, I don't have to go out in the cold with my little guy either! We have the "ahoy" pack and have been trying to find the money for more Charlie Banana diapers because they're our favorite!
ReplyDeleteI love charlie banana diapers. They make it so easy to CD!!! Easy to wash, easy to use, saves me TONS of money, and my kids are not ALLERGIC to them!!!!! Daycare even uses them!!
ReplyDeleteMost of my cloth diapers are CB. I love how soft they are, the designs & the adjustable elastic.
ReplyDeletewe have two charlies already! I love how much they save us money! nicolelequire@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteMy baby has very sensitive skin so I love that cloth helps out alot and also the money that it saves us, we currently have only 6 diapers but still CD fulltime so this 3 pack would help alot
ReplyDeleteI'm not gonna lie - I love the cuteness!! But I also love saving money and not having gross chemicals on baby. We CD'd baby #1 from 6 months on. Now she's 2 and potty trained, but we have another baby arriving in a few short months to cloth diaper from birth! Loved CB diapers with baby #1 and I adore the Americano pack prints.
ReplyDeleteOh and PS we're like you, we prefer natural fibers, but I still love the fit of the CB shells so we just used them like Ai2s with econappi inserts or grovia bamboo prefolds, or thirsties hemp - whatever was on hand.
DeleteWE LOVE OUR LIMITED STASH of Charlie Bananas! We used gDiapers with our daughter(First) but they just didn't work for little man so we decided to switch to Charlie Bananas on a whim. Well...we don't have a large stash so we wash every day, sometimes more than once! Would LOVE these!!!!
ReplyDeleteHello Rebecca,
DeleteThe prize was not claimed by the original winner and I had to pick a new one. Congratulations because the new winner is you :)
Could you please comment back with your email address so that we can get your prize mailed out to you :)
Have a great day,
Ashlee
Congrats, I hope they claim the price this time, they have been really lucky!!! I wish I can expand my stash as well :(
DeleteAny luck contacting the winner?
DeleteCharlie Banana is one of my favorite cloth diaper brands. I love them because they are so soft on the inside and I imagine that feels so much better on a babies tush than an icky disposable would, especially when wet. I love the fit of the "one size" they offer as well! I also have to say I love how cute that little fluff-butt from a cloth diaper is!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about CD'ing is seeing my son in them + watching the diapers dry on a line - it's just so pretty! We have a few Charlie Banana dipes + I think they have the classiest prints of all! So cute, but never cheesy.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about cloth diapering is knowing that I'm doing something to help the planet. I have not tried Charlie Banana yet but have a new pack at home.
ReplyDeletemomdoccab(at)gmail(dot)com
First time mom here, but planning on cloth. After reviews like yours, I picked Charlie Banana to be my go-to brand.
ReplyDeleteI am an American, but technically I live in Taiwan currently. It's very hard to get the diapers here, so I need to have my mom send them from the states or order online. That means cost of diaper and shipping.
Wouldn't mind paying only shipping for a few >.<
I love the colors that Charlie Banana has and also the extra overlap snap. Haven't seen that on other products.
I love saving money with cloth diapers. Have not tried Charlie Banana yet but would like to, they look very convenient.
ReplyDeletecark1972(at)gmail(dot)com
I like that it is a more natural way to diaper your child. I have not tried Charlie Banana because when they final got them at my local target, we had potty trained our first. But our second is on the way, so we need diapers!
ReplyDeleteJumped over from your channel on youtube you sounded alittle sick so hope your feeling better. :) I really started using cloth because my son started getting super bad rashes from disposable diaper's and being low on funds I've only got 3 diaper's in total. Really hope I can try charlie banana's version and get my son's stash up. Thanks posting this giveaway someone is going to be thrilled on the 8th! :D
ReplyDeleteI love that cloth diapering so easy and saves me money. I also love that I can reuse my favorites over and over again. I have used charlie banana swim diapers and love them! I have tried a charlie banana diaper thanks for the chance
ReplyDeleteaerojenn@aol.com
I LOVE Charlie Banana diapers! I have about 10 but would love 3 more... especially those 3 prints! My favorite part about them is that they are SO soft!!! They are also super trim and my son can still wear pants that are his size!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI am loving Charlie Banana products. Just had my 3rd child last month and am a veteran to cloth diapering but the old fashioned fold and pin way. Saw these at Target a year ago when we were practicing for our third and thought I should give it a try when our blessing came into the world. I love them!!! They fit perfect, there soft, and no more pins!!! We only have 3 of the small version and I'm with out a doubt in need of more. Thank you for you and your man's service my fellow USMC wife, oorah!!!! These prints will look fabulous on my little Miss's bum while posing with daddy's uniform! Happy New Year!!!......
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the different prints for cloth diapers. I have never bought CB due to the price.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is going to continue the tradition of cloth diapering. She is choosing Charlie Banana. I just think it is great that nobody will jag themselves with a diaper pin while diapering a wiggly baby!
ReplyDeleteMy son would look amazing in these!! Fingers crossed!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love CB! CB is my favorite diaper! I love cloth diapering for many reasons. Its good for the planet, easy on the babies bum, and doesn't burn a hole in the wallet (well, haha, if you know how to control your fluff addiction it shouldn't burn a hole in the wallet!)
ReplyDeletei just gave birth to my third baby last november and its been a month since i started using cloth diapers and i must say it is worth the try, not just saves money and our planet but we cloth diapering mommas are providing our little ones a safer and stimulating environment for their future, no garbage! say #hellotocloth and #goodbyedisposables! i don't have a charlie banana in my stash but i would love to try this brand too, i'm crossing my fingers to win this giveaway :))
ReplyDeleteI love cloth because of all the options and colors and infinite variety!
ReplyDeleteI have used CB. Love the trim fit.

My modest stash is 100% CB. I love placing a freshly laundered diaper on my baby's bum which I know exactly what's on it. I love that we produce less trash and that my trash doesn't stink up our apartment.
ReplyDeleteDad was hesitant at first but is now in love.
Gissellegutierrez@gmail.com
I like that they save us money and are healthy for my children. I have not tried Charlie Banana diapers yet.
ReplyDeleteWe are big fans of Charlie Banana, they hold up great and we love the one size. The colours are so nice and bright and the leg openings are the right tightness.
